Chairperson's Message

Greetings
Dear Professional colleagues and students,

It is a great honour for me to be the chairman of Alleppey branch of SIRC of ICAI. I thank the members of Alleppey branch of SIRC of ICAI for electing me to this prestigious post and their expression of confidence.

Our branch is one of the oldest branches in India with an own building having all facilities for the needs of the members and students.

As you all know due to the day by day advancement of technology in our profession, we need to be updated. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is a mean by which members of the profession maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge, skills and develop qualities required for sustainable growth. This year we plan to have more CPE seminars for our members either physically or virtually and one RRC seminar like we done last year. We will bring the best faculties available for the CPE programs so that we will be equipped with the latest amendments to be familiarized for the day to day practice of the profession.

For students SICASA will take care of the needs of the students by conducting regular study circle meetings and seminars. We are trying for an advanced ITT lab for students.

We are also planning to have carrier orientation programs for 10th and 12th standard students so that they will be made to known about the Chartered Accountancy course.

We are also trying to purchase the adjacent land near our branch building so that we can have direct access from the main road.

I need the support of all fellow members of the branch for smooth functioning of the branch so that I can perform up to your expectations and thus making our branch as one of the best branches in the region.
